At Christ’s Love Assembly, we believe that ministry goes beyond the pulpit — it reaches the practical needs of people. Food Nest is one of the compassion arms of RCCG Christ’s Love Assembly, created to ensure that no one within our church family or surrounding community goes hungry.
Inspired by the example of our Lord Jesus Christ in John 6:10–12, where He fed the multitude with love and compassion, Food Nest exists to nourish lives physically, emotionally and spiritually. We believe that food is not just provision; it is dignity, care, fellowship and hope.
Food is one of the “5 Fs” of CLA, reflecting our intentional commitment to serving humanity through practical love and compassionate outreach.
Our Purpose
Food Nest was established to:
- Provide meals and food support to individuals and families in need
- Support vulnerable members of the community with compassion and dignity
- Create an atmosphere of care, fellowship and belonging
- Demonstrate the love of Christ through practical action
- Encourage unity and sharing within the church and wider community
We believe that when people are cared for physically, their hearts are also opened to hope, encouragement and restoration.
Our Mission

Our mission is to become a channel of God’s love by intentionally fighting hunger, loneliness and hardship through:
- Community feeding initiatives
- Food distribution programmes
- Support for struggling families
- Hospitality and fellowship meals
- Partnership with local charities and community groups
- Encouraging members to become vessels of generosity and kindness
Food Nest seeks to create a culture where compassion becomes a lifestyle and no one feels forgotten.
